The System Analyst will be directly involved in conducting analysis, creating technical/functional specs, configuration, testing, implementation, system administrationand support of new and existing applications and processes to enable development teams to more rapidly release medical device software and systems. This role will provide expertise that is critical in assisting with the identification of opportunities for the effective use of technology and the implementation of IT solutions on behalf of internal business product development groups.
The Systems Analyst is responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders, including medical device software development teams and partner information technology resources to support business processes and provide operational efficiency using industry standard technologies.
This position will work collaboratively with other IT and software engineering teams to deploy and operate our systems/platforms, and support client utilization. This will include helping to automate and streamline our operations and processes, along with building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. Additionally, this position will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in our dev, test and production environments.
JOB DUTIES:
Application Administration of SDLC Tools (Requirements, Testing, Source Code, Defect Tracking, Code Analysis)
Contribute necessary documentation, testing and change control procedures to satisfy internal product validation
Administer and troubleshoot issues in development tools such as Jira, Bitbucket,Nexus, Confluence, and Jenkins suite of applications
Responsible monitoring the health of the applications
Experience in creating, managing and troubleshooting shell scripts
Present system designs and technical implementation details to engineers and partner IT teams
Contribute to end-user training as needed and comfortable providing day-to-day tier 2 support
Communicate trends and new developments in technology to advise on current state best practices for implementing solutions
Communicates effectively with management to enhance their understanding of the opportunities and limitations of information systems
Conform to and enforce planned work priority in the face of continued interruptions and Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments
Works with infrastructure engineers and other application teams to implement solutions that provide excellent access, throughput, availability, security and cost-effectiveness, while maintaining simplicity and industry best practices
Maintain accurate current state application architecture diagrams, documentation, and other data sources in a consistent and replicable manner
Maintain, mature, and audit security processes in our code and infrastructure
Automate and codify supporting security systems in all phases of the SLDC
Develops detailed implementation, test and roll-back procedures for planned changes

Works with standard office equipment, telephone, cellular phone, and personal computer. Operates a motor vehicle for trips to various Company sites and outside vendor, field, and customer locations; and to commute to various airports for airline travel.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work environment varies from well lighted office/cubicle, low to moderate noise level, to a variety of conditions caused by travel requirements such as customer offices, research labs, hospitals, hotels, use of automobiles, commercial travel, weather, etc.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Activities require a significant amount of sitting in front of a computer monitor, some standing and walking. Significant use of hands and arms, plus finger dexterity to reach, point, write, type, operate a computer and other office equipment. Performs tasks that regularly require good correctable vision and hand/eye coordination. Activities also require significant use of voice and hearing for discussions with other employees.
