    Steno’s Sales Team is looking for a rock-star Account Executive with a book of business to join our team! WE ARE SPECIFICALLY LOOKING FOR PEOPLE IN THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA MARKET, BUT OPEN TO NETWORKING WITH CANDIDATES IN CALIFORNIA AS WELL!

    WHO ARE YOU? You have an existing book of business and relationships with target clients who would benefit from Steno’s services. You’re professional, reliable and operate with a hospitality mindset to offer amazing customer service. You are results oriented and confident when it comes to actively seeking business opportunities to expand Steno’s client network.

    If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, you’re comfortable working with multiple systems and you love working with clients, then this role is for you! 

    ON A REGULAR BASIS, YOU’LL BE: 

    • Driving new/existing business, tracking sales targets and being accountable for personal KPIs

    • Conducting virtual demonstrations of Steno’s products 

    • Serving as the primary point of contact for your book of clients, responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships

    • Answering client questions, anticipate needs and offer helpful and effective solutions to drive conversion

    • Supporting clients via phone and email with professionalism, timeliness, exceptional communication skills and always operating with a hospitality mindset

    • Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our service according to client needs and objectives

    • Monitoring and analyzing client’s usage of our product and services and acting proactively to increase product adoption and revenue within your book of business

    • Constantly working as a liaison between clients and internal teams to provide feedback and celebrate successes

     

    OUR TEAM. The Sales team is focused on bringing in business that will help Steno achieve our audacious goals. 

    YOU’RE GONNA CRUSH IF:

    • You’ve got at least 2 years of proven Account Management or Sales experience or related area; legal industry experience is a plus! 

    • You’re proficient with using technology and cloud based applications (Google drive experience is preferred!)

    • You’re a quick learner and feel comfortable picking up new systems and processes quickly

    • You’re reliable, punctual and professional

    • You’re able to effectively prioritize among competing tasks and overall good time management skills

    • You’re a critical thinker; you think outside of the box for innovative solutions to problems

    • You have the ability to work though highly detailed processes at an efficient pace, stay organized, and most importantly - you’re flexible and can deal with ambiguity from time to time 

    • You have the desire to work with a fast-paced and quickly growing tech start-up and you are enthusiastic about the opportunity for growth within the company

Steno makes getting and paying for legal support services easy by combining litigation finance with a two-sided market that connects court reporters, videographers, and interpreters with the law firms that need their services.
