Job Description

Quality: Inspect inbound and outbound shipments to confirm product is free of damage or defect. Report quality issues. Ensure counts are accurate.

Shipping/Order Picking: Pull and prepare product for shipment, guarantee correct product is dispatched. Perform picking duties effectively according to the company’s superior customer service standard.

Loading: Orderly transfer product from staging and/or storage areas into flat bed or boxed trailers using forklift or alternative material handling equipment: Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.

Inventory: Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that precise inventory controls and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Perform proper stock rotation.

Safety, Security: Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.

Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with OSHA standard practices.

Must have the following skills;

• Must be dependable and demonstrate the ability to follow directions
• Ability to make independent decisions within well-defined guidelines
• Must be a team player
• Good communication skills, both orally and in writing
• Good math skills
• Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse/open yard environment
• Limited computer data entry skills

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 5 yrs verifiable Forklift Operation Experience. Certificate preferred.

Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions

Additional Information

Pay $16/Hr.
