******Sterile Processing Tech at Audubon ASC St. Francis**
The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
****Qualifications
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
· Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
· Experience with all types of sterilizers
· Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
· Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
· Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed

Hourly Range: $20 - $28 (based on experience)

_ Other skills and abilities_ : General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room.
