Position Details

Role:Sterile Processing Technician (MST – Sterile Processing Services)

Openings:Up to 20 positions

Location:2002 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77030

Job Responsibilities The technician will support the Sterile Processing Services (SPS) department and assist with reprocessing surgical and medical instruments used in areas including:

Main Operating Room

Urology

ENT

Speech Pathology

Anesthesia

Cardiology Cath Lab

Pulmonary Bronch Lab

Sterile Processing Services

All work must be performed onsite at the VA Medical Center. Requirements

RelevantSterile Processing Technician / Medical Supply Technician (SPS)experience

Ability to work in a hospital/sterile processing environment

Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights/weekends as required

Must successfully complete the requiredVA background investigation and onboarding process
