  • Responsibilities

    The Maintenance Technician II is a position that requires the individual to work unassisted in all tasks with very minimal assistance. This position requires the incumbent to be able to be the lone maintenance resource for any given time span. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for conducting scheduled maintenance, repairing equipment as needed, and documenting maintenance and repair on lines and equipment within their shift. The Maintenance Technician II must/will possess considerable skills, knowledge and experience related to working on electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems within a large, 24/7 manufacturing environment.     • Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times
    • Assists in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and Line Leads.
    • Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management/Supervision, and/or Operators.
    • Supports workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM).
    • Assists, coaches, and trains operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks
    • Supports and assists preventative maintenance process on the shift
    • Contributes and assists in line commissioning after maintenance/process events
    • Assists and participates with other plant projects as needed
    • Operates in a manner that provides value to the team
