    Job Description

    This is a direct-hire position with an industrial product manufacturing company located just north of Milwaukee, WI.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    • Increase business with existing customers, as well as generate leads and penetrate new customers in new markets.
    • Interface with customers at various levels (technical, commercial, and management).
    • Must be an experienced and results-driven sale professional with a background or educational foundation in engineering.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop relationships with management, procurement staff, and engineering at customers
    • Develop a strong understanding of the customer's organization by collaborating with operations and engineering
    • Identify opportunities that fit the company’s strategy and objectives, and develop those prospects through pre-sales, negotiation, and support phases
    • Negotiate contracts with customers and implement the appropriate pricing strategies
    • Oversee the development of conceptual solutions by the engineering team and lead the presentation of proposals to customer personnel
    • Develop new opportunities through research and revisiting dormant accounts to identify potential customers

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's Degree is required (Engineering preferred, but not required)
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales engineering or technical sales roles is required
    • Experience in the sales of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, bearings, turbo-machinery, etc.) or a related industrial product is preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships
    • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
    • Basic computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills.
    • Ability to travel throughout the US (up to 25%), with possible international travel in the future.

    Base salary:  $90K - $100K/year (plus annual bonus)
