Your responsibilities include accurately logging charges and preparing escrow documentation, with the assistance of an escrow officer if necessary, using our software systems (RBJ). Additional duties include ascertaining HOA upfront fees, ordering Common Interest Disclosures and disseminating documents upon receipt to the appropriate party, consistently and effectively pursuing and obtaining outstanding escrow documentation, analyzing Preliminary Title Reports and addressing title issues therein, obtaining necessary demands statements and validating information received to ensure accurate final calculations, and drawing loan estimates as directed via the lender issued Closing Disclosure.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with pre-closing preparation and/or post-closing tasks. • Provide administrative support to Escrow Officers including handling money transfers, preparing documentation, closing transactions, advising customers and handling funds. • Act as a liaison and maintain communication between customers and all parties involved in the transaction. • Review contracts, commitments and orders in preparation for the closing as well as assemble the necessary documents to prepare the file. • Submit documentation to lender(s) to obtain funding and disbursement approval. • Ensure all parties including the buyers, sellers and any agents receive copies of final settlement statements prior to closing, after receiving lenders final approval. • Coordinate the collection of information to finalize the sale of the property.
DESIRED JOB EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
• 1+ years of Escrow experience is required. • Experience with RBJ software and systems. • MUST have a willingness to learn and help all departments when needed. • Real Estate industry experience preferred (title/escrow.) • Microsoft Office proficient/Strong Computer Skills. • Ability to comprehend and write instructions, correspondence, and memos. • Excellent verbal/written skills including good punctuation, spelling and grammar. • Must have high level of organization and strong attention to detail. • Must have ability to consistently meet deadlines, demonstrate strong follow through, and to follow departmental procedures. • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
