Job Description

Sterling Federal Bank is seeking a Part Time Teller at Sterling location

Duties: Provide excellent account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments Cash checks; issue savings withdrawals; record night and mail deposits Sell cashier's checks, and answer questions in person or on telephone Refer customers to other bank services Record transactions by logging cashier's checks and other special services Maintain and balance automated teller machine Perform opening, closing, and other branch duties such as cash and vault balancing; ordering cash, cards, checks and other supplies Prepare currency transaction reports Cross-sell bank products by answering inquiries Inform customers of new services and product promotions Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Self-motivated and self-disciplined Prior cash handling experience preferred Flexible to schedule changes when necessary Good customer service skills Able to make rational decisions and problem solve

Hours: Average hours are 29 hours per week
