SPECIFIC JOB TITLE: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FOR COMPLIANCE
REPORTS TO: Associate Athletic Director for Compliance

JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Director for Compliance will maintain a comprehensive compliance monitoring program for all Financial Aid activities related to the seventeen (17) St. John’s University sport programs and three hundred plus student-athletes. The Assistant Director for Compliance will provide on-going NCAA Rules Education programing to all student-athletes, coaches and athletic department staff members. The Assistant Director for Compliance position is a non-supervisory administrative position in the St. John’s University Athletic Department and reports directly to the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
The Compliance Office is located on the second floor of Carnesecca Arena. As a result, the employee needs to be able to walk up steps to get to their desk (cubicle) in the Compliance Office.

This position is full-time in-person position.
TRAVEL
Travel to NCAA Regional Rules Seminar and BIG EAST Conference Compliance meetings occur annually are required. In addition, occasional team travel with St. John’s University sport team may occur.
