Neurology (hospitalist) / Acute Care Stroke Center
Join expanding Neurology team as a Neurohospitalist. General neurology and acute stroke care. Service covers acute care hospitals and works collaboratively with the Neurology outpatient clinic. Position is 7 days on and 7 days off inpatient with opportunity for additional work in outpatient. Census is split between 1 or 2 neurohospitalists plus a team of 3-5 NP/PAs. 10-15 new consults per day with 5-8 follow-ups.

Multi-disciplinary practice with 4 acute care hospitals, 2 specialty hospitals. 700-bed acute care facility houses the Neuroscience Institute. Certified comprehensive stroke center with 2 certified primary stroke centers. Area's only Level II Trauma Center and DNV Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. 24/7 ER with exceptionally trained staff, and housed the Rehabilitation Hospital.
