Cardiovascular Surgery APP or Surgical Assistant

Join a well-established hospital employed surgical groups of 3 Cardiovascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologist with a team of 3 physician assistants.  Assist physician in the OR, performing vein harvesting and surgical first assisting.  Hospital rounding and post-op clinical.  Call shared 1:3.  Work alongside of Cardiology, Intensivists, and IR support services.   EPIC EMR.

Non-profit tertiary referral center with 350 physicians. 2 hospitals with 420-bed facility. Level II Trauma center. DaVinci robotics. Academic affiliation / teaching hospital.  

Requirements:

• Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Cardiovascular Surgery experience
• Vein harvesting and surgical first assisting required
• RFNA certification, or willing to certify within one year
• Al license, or eligible
