Psychiatrist / J1 Sponsor / Teaching opportunity!

Join an established community health center in El Paso, TX. Teaching opportunity!  Center is starting a newly created Residency program.  Hybrid of telehealth and outpatient clinic. 

Psychiatrist will oversee the treatment plans and progress of patients, serve as a consultant on specific cases and examine and treat patients whose condition may also require pharmacological intervention.   Must be willing to see children, adolescent and adults.  Supporting a diverse patient panel.  Spanish proficient required.

Duties Performed:

• Examines, evaluates, diagnoses, and treats psychiatric disorders.
• Reviews case histories and verifies diagnosis of psychiatric disorders. Prescribes and evaluates the effectiveness of a wide range of therapeutic measures. Recommends disposition of psychiatric cases.
• Serves as medical and psychiatric consultant to primary care providers and clinical social workers.
• Serves as consultant on psychiatry.

Requirements:

• Board eligible / Board Certified
• Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• TX license, or eligible 
• Bilingual (Spanish proficiency) required
