    Job Description

    JOB TITLE: Sales Analyst

    DEPARTMENT: Sales

    JOB STATUS (FLSA): Non-Exempt - Full Time

    LOCATION: El Segundo, CA

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Sales Analyst will manage and review data to enhance sales leaders’ effectiveness, provide information management support, and represent sales leaders to others. This position will analyze and revise data to deliver accurate projections about market and business conditions.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, creating, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
    • Conserves executive’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
    • Maintains appointment schedules, plans, schedules meetings, conferences, teleconferences.
    • Owns the reporting process
    • Runs daily reports on Targets and Maintenance accounts assigned to all sales personnel.
    • Collect CRM reports from all sales personnel daily, log information, submit.
    • Creates and manages pipeline reports, sales lead reports, and lead log.
    • Runs daily sales reports on overall station activity, monitor account productivity, ensure all new accounts have follow-up according to plan.
    • Runs monthly margin reports and variance reports, formats into workable document, distributes to sales team, collects results, and shares results with senior management in a workable format.
    • Runs daily quote log, distributes to sales team.
    • Runs reports to identify new business for reporting, format, analyze, and submission.
    • Creates and manages data for KPI reports, formats, submits to senior management.
    • Maintains all Rate and Service (R&S) Agreements, while working with sales team and accounting on ensuring all agreements are universal and signed, and in place by deadlines.
    • Manages contracts and tariffs for expiration.
    • Manages document development for all R&S Agreements when rate adjustments are required.
    • Maintains Credit Application Log.
    • Follow up to ensure timely completion of application process.
    • Communicate application status with sales team’s accounts.
    • Monitors compliance of VP, Account Managers, and Inside Sales on new account set-up process.
    • Monitors all new accounts to ensure Profile is complete and in file.
    • Ensures CRM is being used to maximize potential.
    • Troubleshoots issues with implementation of the CRM.
    • Monitors usage of CRM, provides training when required.
    • Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions; follow-up to ensure all action items are completed on time.
    • Interaction with the national sales team.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    • Working knowledge of PC and facility with common business applications, including both spreadsheet and word processing software.
    • CRM software.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Organization, time management, and presentation skills software.
    • Ability to effectively interface with different personalities in fast-paced working environment.
    • Ability to prioritize.
    • Sound business judgement, quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong work ethic, characterized by initiative, drive, and goal orientation.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School Diploma, AA, or BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 2 years plus of administrative and support experience in a related high-volume sales and/or freight forwarding environment.
    • Bilingual preferred but not required.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Detail oriented with superior time management skills.
    • Ability to independently develop and clearly deliver bot written and oral presentations to peers and senior managers.
    • Ability to perform basic math calculations and analyze basic financial and operational data.
    • Ability to perform job requirements and exercise sound judgement under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to listen intently, comprehend quickly, and speak clearly.
    • Must have energetic, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
    • Must be Punctual with regular and consistent attendance.
    • Ability to work over-time as needed.
