    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The combined Safety, Security and Loss Prevention organization requires one or two year-round college intern(s) to work a combined 40 hours a week. The administrative duties will vary; however, there are monthly deadlines that must be met (1st - 15th) involving collecting data from multipe sources and preparing safety and security data for inclusion in the monthly Execuvie Staff Presentaiton. In addition, there are many safety and security related documents which require revisions as changes occur with the company or industry (i.e. Safe Work Practices Manual, policies, procedures, forms.). Preparation of weekly safety messages which are shared with all sites across North America.   

    Required Skills Required Experience

    ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY.

     

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with at least four semesters completed by start of internship/co-op.

    • Interest, coursework, and/or experience in corporate environmental, health and occupational safety and security
    • Strong academic performance
    • Strong analytical skills

    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

     

    THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE DESIRED AND WILL BE USED TO DIFFERENTIATE ALL CANDIDATES WHO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.

     

    • Previous internship/co-op experience in field of study
    • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration General Industry Standards

  • Qualifications
    • Current and unrestricted license to practice neurology
    • Minimum of 5-10 years practicing as a neurologist required.
    • Minimum of 5 years of TBI experience preferred.
    • Prior experience within the DoD/VA systems of care strongly preferred.
    • Must have completed four years of premed education followed by four years of study in medical school and 3-4 years of internship in neurology.
    • Must maintain Continuing Education credit sufficient to maintain both their clinical license and to meet MTF specific Quality Assurance standards for credentialing as a psychologist.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
    • Ability to practice independently.
    • Must adhere to legal, professional and ethical codes with respect to confidentiality and privacy.
    • Must be a US Citizen
