QUALIFICATIONS:

¨ Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree or 3 years Control Engineering experience

¨ Ability to read/write electrical and logic circuits

¨ Knowledge of industrial control components (switches, sensors, transducers, transformers, power supplies, timers, counters, relays, AC motor starters)

¨ Pneumatic Control knowledge preferred. Motion Control (Servos and Steppers) hardware and programming experience beneficial

¨ Computer / Internet literate

¨ Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access experience a plus

¨ Excellent communications and organizational skills

¨ Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

¨ Call center or Sales experience in distribution industry a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION:

¨ Inside technical support and application assistance for customers and Inside/Outside Steven Engineering Sales staff

¨ Provide technical assistance on all SEI products

¨ Provide the Marketing Department with technical aspects of SEI products for the website including gathering, preparing and delivering product data for inclusion into eCommerce database

¨ Cross reference products

¨ Attend training seminars and sales meetings

¨ Perform related duties as necessary

¨ Regular and consistent attendance required

¨ Occasional lifting of literature and/or product weighing up to 12 lbs

HOURS OF WORK:

Typically, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with additional hours as needed. Mandatory attendance required for seminar and sales meetings, usually scheduled outside of normal working hours.
