A professional Optometry Office Located in Bothell/Mill Creek/Woodinville area looking for a part time Medical Administrative Assistant (Optometric Technician) and receptionist. 20-36 hours are available initially and depending on performance and availability more hours may be available if candidate desires. We are looking for an individual with: -A warm, engaging, friendly, professional personality to greet and help patients. No experience required but Retail/Customer Service experience is a BIG plus. We are willing to train otherwise. - Must be able to mutli-task, problem solve and be detail oriented. - Must be able to work independently and also cohesively with fellow team members in the office. - Must have at least 1 year of post high school education or work experience after high school. Basic Job Description: - Receive incoming telephone calls, place calls, and document in phone logs - Schedule and reschedule appointments -Obtain preauthorization for services and procedures when necessary from insurance companies -Greets patients in a friendly professional manner-Help with patient pre-examination testing (training will be provided) -Prepare and post transaction on computerized daily log and account ledger -Collects payments from patients -Reconcile daily receipts received -Maintain contact lens trials and orders when necessary -Help with ophthalmic dispensing of eye wear and frames (training will be provided) The vision of our practice is to provide a place that is warm, fun and engaging for our employees to work at.
