Job Title: Part-Time Steward

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Steward to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our establishment, ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for our guests. This position requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a team-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, including dishwashing, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Ensure all equipment, utensils, and surfaces are clean and in proper working condition.
- Assist with inventory management by organizing and restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations while handling cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Support kitchen staff by assisting with basic food preparation duties as needed.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with team members and communicate effectively with supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a stewarding or kitchen support role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
