D1 Training North Pittsburgh is a sports performance facility located in Cranberry Twp., PA. Our facility is about 7500 square feet and features state of the art equipment as well as a turf field. Our primary goal is to motivate and inspire young athletes and adults to be the best they can be. We train young athletes to help increase their speed, agility, explosiveness, and strength. We work with kids as young as 7 years old. We also use our athletic based training methods with our adult population to help them get better at their activities and to help them be able to do them for longer.The General Manager is responsible for day to day operations. The GM will ensure efficient and effective performance to reach revenue goals, promote D1 core values, establish community relationships to promote the D1 brand, ensure consistent delivery of services that meet D1 quality standards, and drive local market awareness and engagement activities.SPECIAL SKILLS, TOOLS, EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of basic business principles in management, marketing, human resources, and finance.
Effective time management and follow-through skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers, community leaders, D1 leadership team, and employees.
Assure compliance with all governmental policies, procedures, and laws.
Ability to market the D1 product effectively in the local market.
Growth of membership through retention and local marketing initiatives.
Effective management of daily operations of the facility including facility maintenance, customer service, and business processes and reporting
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university
3+ years of experience in operations with P&L responsibility a plus
2+ years of experience in supervision
Knowledge of gym or retail operations a plus
Highly energetic with a "can do" attitude
