    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled Stihl Technician to join our team at Ritter Lumber – Hemphill. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining Stihl power equipment, ensuring customers receive high-quality service and technical support. This role also involves assisting with sales, customer inquiries, and product demonstrations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Diagnose, repair, and maintain Stihl power equipment, including chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and other outdoor tools.

    Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.

    Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding product usage, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

    Assist in sales by recommending appropriate Stihl products based on customer needs.

    Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.

    Process warranty claims and service orders efficiently.

    Stay updated on Stihl product advancements and attend training sessions as required.

    Collaborate with store personnel to ensure seamless customer service and product availability.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    Previous experience as a small engine mechanic or Stihl technician preferred.

    Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

    Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

    Excellent customer service and communication skills.

    Basic knowledge of lumber and building materials is a plus, but not a requirement.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications in small engine repair are a plus.
