Job Summary

Furniture Mart is seeking an energetic and motivated Stockroom Associate to join our team. In this position, you will store warehouse operations loading, unloading and assembling home furnishings.

Responsibilities

Process incoming shipments in a neat and organized fashion

Pull stock to fulfill and prepare orders for pick up

Ensure orders are accurate and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

Inspect incoming shipments for any damages, defects, or errors

Assist on sales floor as necessary

Maintain stockroom and showroom

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED is preferred

Previous experience working in a retail setting is preferred

Ability to use warehouse equipment, including hand tools, hand trucks and dollies

Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects

Ability to work with limited supervision

Excellent organizational and time management skills
