Staff Accountant

We are seeking an Accountant to join our team. If you're interested in working in a new, growing firm that will offer opportunities for advancement, this is the opportunity for you. As part of our talented team of accountants, you will be contributing to the overall successful completion of various amount of client engagements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Perform financial statement compilations, reviews, and audits.

·         Prepare business and individual tax returns.

·         Contact/Interact with clients to accumulate tax return data for individual returns.

·         Perform bookkeeping for clients.

·         Develop effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative accounting, tax planning, consulting, and/or compliance solutions.

·         Ability to identify and research tax and accounting issues, develop resolutions and prepare written conclusions.

·         Ability to effectively manage and schedule deadlines.

 REQUIREMENTS

·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

·      Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·      Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills

·      Ability to work independently both in the office and at client locations

·      Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·      Self-starter with the ability to handle and manage multiple priorities

·      1+ years of experience in a public accounting firm

PAY: $45,000 - $65,000 PER YEAR
