Job Summary

Our client, a leading countertop fabricator in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, is seeking a skilled Stone Hand Polisher to join their team in delivering high-quality stonework.

Daily Responsibilities

• Use pneumatic polishing tools to shape and polish stone surfaces.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and job-specific paperwork.
• Inspect, measure, and verify quality of finished countertops.
• Fill chips and fissures with epoxy prior to polishing.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and perform minor tool maintenance.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of stone industry experience or a strong desire to learn.
• Experience with hand tools, woodworking, or cabinet making.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift or move objects over 70 pounds.
