    Senior Pastor Steven Gibbs has been leading the Stonecreek team for the last 16 years of the church's 22-year history. Relationships run deep at Stonecreek. In October of 2020, Stonecreek Church launched its second campus Elevate City Church in the Sandy Springs area of Atlanta.

     

    ABOUT THIS ROLE

    Vision/Purpose of this role

    The Worship Pastor will lead out in all aspects of Worship, Production, Look and Feel, and all elements of worship at Stonecreek Church. This role is designed to create and maintain the vision and aesthetics in all areas to ensure high level of excellence in all creative and programming endeavors. This role is designed to facilitate a key worship community throughout all campuses, who can Give Their Best by giving their gifts for the church.

    Key Wins for this role

    • Creatively aligning content under vision and values
    • Creating a deep worship culture and excellent production standards.
    • Creation of content is relevant, protects the brand of Stonecreek and moves us forward.
    • Consistent improvements across all production areas.
    • The content from Sunday morning moves across the church and facilitates conversations between Monday and Saturday.
    • Developing leaders who step into their giftings and use them for the church.
    • Multiplication of band members and worship leaders
    • Services planned 3 weeks in advance connecting to Sunday content.

    Job Responsibilities

    Worship:

    • Meet weekly to coordinate Sunday programming
    • Oversee the worship team and culture at all Stonecreek Church campuses
    • Recruit and equip new worship leaders and worship team members.
    • Develop a culture of songwriters and music that is birthed from Stonecreek Church campuses
    • Champion the worship in Staff culture (Staff Prayer, Staff Meetings, Random Worship Moments in the Office)
    • Manage hospitality team to facilitate breakfast for Worship team on Sunday mornings.

    Production:

    • Partner with Technical Director to oversee the implementation of production training protocols across all ministries.
    • Forward-thinking in use of technology and how it can push the Stonecreek Church campuses forward.
    • Consistently improve production and programming elements for corporate worship gatherings.

    Creative Planning & Programing:

    • Coordinate weekend and special event programming.
    • Be an advocate for the use of content that is both contemporary but theologically grounded in God’s word.
    • Work closely to support the message, the preaching, and pastoral leadership of Stonecreek Church campuses

    Musical Direction:

    • Create and lead weekend and special event worship music as the primary worship leader.
    • Lead and develop the worship team(s) and their spiritual growth as well as their technical musical abilities.
    • Lead and direct the band, instrumentally and vocally
    • Manage Playback and the preparation for Sunday morning worship services.
    • Create and orchestrate arrangements and worship sets that fit with content and move the needle forward in worship culture.

    Technical and Media Oversight:

    • Provide oversight of all technical aspects of audio and video production for the worship services and live streaming.
    • Oversee the execution of and provide creative direction of video content (slide decks, special testimony videos, or holiday videos).

    Skills/Qualifications/Expectations

    Education & Experience

    • 3-5+ years of experience in a creative role or in a related field
    • Experience with various online channels and implementing strategies for social media engagement and engagement within the church.
    • Experience in project management and leading others.

    • Primary worship leader for weekends. In addition, exhibits excellence in leading the production/technical team and creative planning and programming process.
