Job Summary:

Stone Dog Studios is a professional design and fabrication scene shop providing creative solutions for film, television, theater, photography, exhibits, events, and out-of-the-box retail and service industries. We operate in a fast paced, creative environment in which we must meet hard deadlines and work with creative problem solving and the ability to adapt quickly to changes. You will be expected to work with clients throughout the creative design process and will be expected to practice good customer service. Successful candidates for this position will have the ability to multitask, have good time management skills, detail oriented, flexible to change, and works in a professional manner.

A successful candidate will:

· Work with clients to design and/or modify graphics for signs, banners, background designs, logos, etc. using Adobe Creative Suite and other pre-press programs • print and plot in our shop in Freehold, NJ • must have knowledge of raster link

· Design and modify pre-press graphics

· Have working knowledge of large format printers, Mimaki a plus

· Have the ability to do cutting, weeding, taping, and applying vinyl graphics to various substrates such as wood, corrugated plastic, foam boards, PVC, aluminum, acrylic

· Have the ability to work with tools such as a hammer, drill, screwdriver, knives, and ladders

· Installing signs and graphics on site and in shop

**Carpentry and building experience a plus, but not required (additional skills in these areas will allow us to provide potential candidates with additional work hours in other areas of the shop)

Skills Required:

· AS/BS in Graphic Design (or design experience)

· Proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS Suite

· Proficiency with printing and plotting on a Mimaki vinyl printer (or similar large format printer)

· Knowledge of math and square footage calculations

· Read, interpret, and complete work instructions in a timely manner

· This is a fast-paced job. You must be capable of climbing ladders and may even be working off site on some occasions.
