Job description: We are looking for individuals that provide a high level of customer service to clubhouse members. Position Title: Pool Monitor Grade: Seasonal part time & full time available Location: Placer County (Rocklin/Lincoln) & Sacramento County (North Natomas) Classification: Non-exempt Compensation: Hourly wage, depends on experience and qualifications Shifts: 4 - 8 hour long shifts, days and evenings available We offer paid, onsite training and premium paid holidays. Team members will report to the designated Site Supervisor. Perfect for High School and College students. JOB SUMMARY- To provide members/guests the consistent enjoyment of the facilities as established in the guidelines. Monitors recreational swimming areas and responsible for the safety of all members, guests, staff members. To ensure that the rules are being enforced. Maintain the area clean and hazard free. General Accountabilities -Monitors the swimming area for situations that could lead to accidents -Enforces all site rules and regulations -Check in and monitoring member and guest usage by verifying membership cards as applicable -Ensure members are in compliance with pool rules -Contacts emergency medical personnel in case of serious injury -Check the pool deck and surrounding areas for food and/or trash. Remove, clean, sweep, or sweep up as necessary. Check the restrooms for cleanliness. -Frequently check trash bins & take out as necessary -Check for glass -Test pool water as needed and record -Ensure kids are in proper swimming attire (i.e. swim diapers) -Check for toys that are not permitted -Check in residents with guests -Must be assertive but professional -Ability to multitask -Ability to know members names and greet them promptly in a manner to provide a warm welcome JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Experience: 3 - 12 months of related experience. We will train the right person. - Not required but a plus if CPR/AED certified - Must be available to work holidays and weekends - Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision. - Professional and respectful demeanor with all staff, members, and guests at all times. - Adaptable and dependable with a solid attendance record. - Conflict resolution skills. - Must be a team player who is committed to delivering high-level customer service. SKILLS- Excellent verbal and written communication Service orientation Attention to details Monitoring Judgment and decision making Active listening Must be reliable and dependable ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Use of standard office equipment, including: computer, phone, tablet, copier/scanner, etc. Use standard maintenance equipment, including pool equipment, broom, hand tools, etc. Relocate up to (25) pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT- Able to perform outdoor work. Exposure to extreme hot, changing weather conditions, insects and bugs. Be stationary or in motion for long periods of time.
