Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA
Compensation: 120k - 200k + Bonus + Equity
Requirements: Embedded C, CAN BUS, RTOS (FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS or RTI)
Bonus if you have: Medical Device experience Or experience with motors, sensors, open and close loop control algorithms etc.

We are developing an innovative medical device to treat patients in-home; removing the burden and ultimately increasing the patients quality of life. Despite the cost of this treatment increasing, only about 1/8 people receive this treatment in-home. Our solution will not only improve the lives of others, but also decrease the cost of care.

What You Will Be Doing:

- Development of firmware that controls motors, pumps, valves, liquid handling, measurements in our product and other features to come
- Test and debug firmware
- Prepare design control documents
- Assist in performing development testing, verification, and validation
- Review system and hardware designs from a firmware perspective

What you will need:
- Embedded C
- RTOS (FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS or Real-time Interrupt (RTI) )
- CAN Bus


Bonus points if you have:
- FPGA (Verilog or VHDL)
- Knowledge of Python and QT/C++ is a big plus
- Motors, Sensors, open and close loop control
- Medical Device Experience
