    Stoplight is looking for a Sales Operations Intern to join a fast growing Austin startup in the exciting domain of APIs and API Design Management. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience and insight into how a software company manages its customer acquisition process. You will work with work cross-functionally with our team and internal tools to improve and maintain how we run the sales function.

    Stoplight helps organizations design, document, test, collaborate and govern their APIs. We are the first product to effectively cover the entire API development lifecycle.

    Stoplight’s mission is to make any stakeholder working with an API more productive. We work with individual developers to large companies including EA, Spotify, Sendgrid, and many others.

    We created Stoplight because we found existing API solutions tools to be inadequate. After talking with thousands of users and growing to 500+ paying customers, it’s clear there is a massive void for Stoplight to become the must-have workflow solution for any organization looking to streamline their API strategy.

    Responsibilities

    Assist in managing our Salesforce Sales Cloud production environment

    Research and organize our target market account data and segmentation

    Ad-hoc reporting and insight capture on sales team performance and KPIs

    Implement changes to critical handoff events through our customer lifecycle, from lead-to-opportunity, pipeline-to-customer, and customer-to-renewal transitions

    Evaluate and administer other internal software tools used by the sales team

    Qualifications

    Currently enrolled in a BA or BS undergraduate program

    Ability to work 15-20 hours per week onsite at Stoplight’s Austin office through duration of internship (Spring semester, option to start during winter break)

    Highly organized and attentive to detail

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work and interact in a group or team

    Self-motivated with a strong learning-orientation

    Preferred but not Required

    Experience with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Excel

    Experience in an office environment

    Strong interest in SaaS business operations

    Compensation:

    $15/hour
