We’re hiring an outgoing, dependable Deli / Meat Counter Associate who is comfortable starting conversations, learning customers’ preferences, and offering helpful recommendations. You don’t need previous deli or meat experience, but you should genuinely enjoy working with people and take pride in giving every customer a great experience. In this hands-on role, you’ll prepare and package products, serve customers one-on-one, keep the counter fresh and inviting, and work closely with a lively, supportive team. Responsibilities: • Greet and assist customers at the deli and meat counter • Slice, weigh, wrap, and label meats and cheeses accurately • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines • Stock cases and rotate products as needed • Answer customer questions and make product recommendations Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age • Customer service experience required • Deli experience preferred • Meat-cutting experience preferred • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40lbs • Basic math skills for weighing and pricing items • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Compensation: $16.50 - $17.50 hourly
