The Company: Fisherman's Warehouse is known across the bay area, northern and central California, making it the largest fishing tackle retail store in the region. We have a love for the outdoors and getting all ages and skill levels out on the water.
The Position: We’re looking for an Experienced RETAIL Store Manager to join our team! Pay starting at $30/hr. Medical, dental and vision benefits are offered to our full-time employees, as well as employee discounts. Full time only!
Job Description: the Store Manager is responsible for facilitating and supervising daily operations at a store to make sure that employees work together effectively to make sales and contribute to shop upkeep. Duties also include communicating with our warehouse about inventory and keeping the store stocked, scheduling employee shifts and training new employees. This position reports to our General Manager. It is also expected that the Store Manager have adequate physical strength to successfully unload shipments and restock the store. Open 7 days a week - shifts are from 9:30am-6:00pm. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS.

Duties: *Supervise, train and assist employees in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions *Develop and maintain a schedule for employees *Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store. *Maintain proper inventory levels, order products to stock the store and perform quarterly inventory processes. *Merchandise store effectively to bring in new products, faze out old, and improve sales based on product popularity/seasonality *Supervise, train and assist employees in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions. *Implement cross-training of employee sand Assistant Managers to maintain productivity at all times. *Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times. *Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service *Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Store Manager Skills *Self-motivated *Strong leadership skills *Strong sales abilities *Great communication skills, must communicate with our warehouse on staffing issues, questions and general day to day activities at the store. *Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Requirements Must have management experience Must be able to work 40 hours a week, including our busiest days Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Pay scale $30-32/hour
