ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide assistance to customers and coworkers while treating everyone with respect and courtesy.
Oversee daily operations of our West Central Iowa Napa locations in Jefferson and Coon Rapids along with an outdoor power retail & repair business segment.
Coordinate staff work schedules and assign specific work tasks.
Guide staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales.
Maintain up to date knowledge of the product inventory and functionality.
Implement product marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns or sales promotions sent from corporate.
Maintain records of purchases, sales, and requisitions.
Estimate consumer demand and determine the types and amounts of merchandise to be sold.
Communicate effectively regarding relevant policies and procedures.
Verify the quality and quantity of products received into the warehouse. Ensure it matches the order.
Merchandise sales floor with monthly sales fliers and new price tags.
Maintain clean and organized warehouse, including isles and walkways while ensuring proper organization.
Examine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed.
Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive excellent service and quality goods.
Complete necessary training to keep Toro and Stihl certifications.
Keep all billing information current and works closely with accountant.
Protect and maintain the security of store assets.
Develop and Identify new customer relations and revenue opportunities for the store.
Run various reports and reconcile accounts.
Attend in person or online Napa store meetings
Place orders
Qualifications:
Passion for customer service and sales support for automotive dealerships & repair shops, heavy equipment & farm industry, manufacturing companies
Strong communication and call-handling skills
Advanced computer skills
Knowledge with point of sale systems including cash handling and payment processing
Clean driving record and valid driver license
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multi-task
Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Associate degree or relevant coursework, or certification in relevant field
Must be available to work Saturday mornings
