    Monmouth Cards – Store Manager (Wrigleyville, Chicago) Location: Chicago, IL (Wrigleyville) Type: Full-Time

    About Us: Monmouth Cards is one of the fastest-growing trading card retailers in the U.S., with multiple stores and a vibrant online presence. We specialize in buying, selling, and trading sports cards, Pokémon, and TCG products. As we expand into the Chicago market with a new location near Wrigleyville, we’re looking for a driven and experienced Store Manager to lead our newest shop.

    What You’ll Do:

    Manage all day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring an organized, customer-focused, and high-energy retail environment

    Hire, train, and lead a team of retail associates

    Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure the store is always well-stocked and merchandised

    Oversee in-store buying, trading, and selling of cards from customers

    Implement sales strategies, promotions, and live events to drive traffic and revenue

    Provide top-tier customer service and support collectors of all levels

    Coordinate with HQ on new product releases, pricing updates, and marketing efforts

    What We’re Looking For:

    2+ years of retail management experience (required)

    Deep knowledge of trading cards (sports and/or TCG)

    Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

    Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed

    Passion for the hobby and a desire to help grow a premier destination for collectors
