The Store Manager is a key leadership and administrative role that works closely with Treat Team Members, Team Leaders, and Company Ownership to ensure smooth daily operations and an exceptional guest experience. This position is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who leads by example.
Pay: $20–$24 per hour, based on experience and ability
Schedule: Full-time, 36–40 hours per week
Lead with a positive attitude and foster strong teamwork and motivation among staff
Be reliable, punctual, and ready to take on each day with energy and a leadership mindset
Become a Certified Ice Maker through online and in-person training (follow recipe cards, multitask, and practice proper food handling procedures)
Oversee all aspects of daily store operations
Scheduling:
Create staff schedules
Approve time-off and shift-cover requests
Ensure team availability is accurately entered
Manage blackout dates and event scheduling
Supervision: Manage and support Treat Team Members and Team Leaders
Inventory: Conduct weekly (or more frequent) inventory assessments
Training: Train all new hires and ensure ongoing development throughout the season
Ordering:
Place weekly orders
Check in deliveries
Properly store inventory and process credit requests
Promotions: Implement brand-standard promotions and ensure staff are trained and prepared
Culture: Create a positive, inclusive workplace culture and mentor team relationships
Ice Production: Ensure adequate ice supply is prepared daily
Third-Party Delivery: Maintain and update online flavors and promotions
Cash Management: Open and close cash drawers daily
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure custard and batch machines are cleaned regularly
Notify ownership of additional maintenance needs for equipment or machinery
Sales Growth: Drive sales growth and market expansion through various channels
Mobile Events: Operate the mobile unit and staff events as needed
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to stand for up to 8-hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage schedules with urgency
Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with customers, team members, and ownership
Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, customer-focused restaurant environment
Strong computer and technology skills, including:
Microsoft Word amp; Excel
Email and internet usage
Apps and social media platforms (Google Business, Facebook, etc.)
Point-of-Sale systems
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends (daytime hours also included)
Must represent the Rita’s brand positively and enthusiastically at all times—both in-store and in public
