Position Overview
We are seeking a highly sales-driven Verizon Wireless Sales Manager who is passionate about developing people, driving performance, and creating a winning sales culture. This role is ideal for a strong leader who can effectively observe, listen, and coach employee behaviors to maximize sales results, improve customer experiences, and build a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of retail store operations with a strong focus on sales performance and customer experience
Drive achievement of store sales goals, KPIs, revenue targets, and operational metrics
Observe employee interactions and identify coaching opportunities to improve sales behaviors and customer engagement
Utilize active listening and real-time feedback to develop employee performance and strengthen selling techniques
Coach team members on prospecting, needs-based selling, objection handling, product positioning, and closing strategies
Conduct consistent one-on-one coaching sessions, role-playing exercises, and performance reviews
Foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous improvement
Recruit, train, onboard, and retain top sales talent
Analyze sales reports, behavioral trends, and performance data to create actionable development plans
Lead by example through strong personal sales performance and customer interactions
Ensure exceptional customer service and resolution of escalated concerns
Maintain expert knowledge of Verizon products, promotions, pricing, and wireless technology
Oversee inventory, merchandising, compliance, and operational standards
Qualifications
Previous wireless, retail, or commission-based sales management experience required
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and developing high-performing teams
Strong coaching, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to observe behaviors, identify performance gaps, and deliver effective developmental feedback
Excellent listening skills with the ability to motivate and influence others
Strong understanding of consultative and behavioral-based selling techniques
Experience managing performance metrics and accountability processes
Ability to multitask and lead in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
