About the Role
St. Michaels Market is looking for a dependable and detail-focused Store Operations Support Specialist to support our merchandising and administrative teams. This position is responsible for maintaining product data, assisting with promotional setup, and ensuring pricing information is accurately reflected throughout our systems.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with information, is highly organized, and takes pride in accuracy. Experience in retail, grocery, or office administration is beneficial but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with setup and maintenance of product records within company systems.
Support the preparation and implementation of weekly sales promotions and advertisements.
Review pricing information and promotional details for accuracy and consistency.
Update item descriptions, categories, vendor information, and pricing as needed.
Work closely with store leadership and department managers to coordinate upcoming promotions.
Perform routine audits of product and pricing data.
Generate reports and provide administrative support for merchandising initiatives.
Assist with additional office and clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Comfortable working with computers and learning new software programs.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Experience
Administrative, clerical, retail, or grocery experience.
Familiarity with inventory systems, data entry, or POS software.

Physical Requirements
Ability to work at a desk and computer for extended periods.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
