    Job Description

    Do you enjoy working with people in a fast-paced environment?  This is a part time position is based in Homewood – perfect for those who who are looking for 20 - 32 hours per week.

    Contact Center Agents take back-to-back, incoming calls from customers who need help with Storage related products and services like sizing, access, moving and packing supplies.. Agents assist customers with quoting rental rates, sales and earning new business.

    Agents also assist with customer service related to existing business, like making changes to reservations, answering questions, helping with customer concerns and taking storage payments.

    Agents are expected to follow established call flows, methods and procedures, handle all calls professionally, expediently and efficiently, meet all quality-related metrics and goals, and above all act in a courteous and friendly manner while serving the customer.

    STOREEASE OFFERS ITS CONTACT CENTER AGENTS:

    • $16 per hour through training with a bump of up to $20 per hour at the end of 90 days. 

    • Contact center career path available including work from home!

    • Hourly base,+ Performance Bonus.

    • Opportunity for base pay merit increases based on performance

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Basic keyboarding and computer skills.

    • Ability to navigate and use multiple computer programs at once.

    • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.

    • Clear speaking voice.

    • General knowledge of U.S. geography.

    • Willingness to incorporate feedback to constantly improve performance.

    SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:

    • Total number of hours (up to 30) scheduled each week will be based on business need. We are currently closed on Sundays.

    • Be available to work between 7am - 7 pm (Central time).

    • You will be asked to work a minimum of one Saturday per month. If you want to work more that’s great!

     

    A note about how we schedule: Availability to work that aligns with the business need may increase the opportunity to be scheduled more hours. We pride ourselves on being flexible with schedules. However, if availability to work does not align with the needs of the business the result may be less hours scheduled.

    THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED TO WORK FROM HOME:

    • You must have a quiet, private work area.

    • This position requires a 24 inch monitor, 25 Megabyte internet or greater, 8 gigs of ram, computer purchased new within the last 3 years and two available USB ports.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED):

    • Consistently provide exceptional customer service and professionalism to all our customers

    • Maximizing potential rental income and sales objectives through

    • Receive inbound sales calls from customers; understand their storage needs and recommend an appropriate storage unit

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • 1+ years sales and/or customer service experience required

    • Call Center/Phone sales experience is a plus

    • Proficient in Windows-based computer programs with excellent navigation skills

    • Effective communication and sound listening skills

    • Proven ability to build customer relationships via telephone

    • Sales closing skills preferred

    • Follow a sales process based on designed scripts

    • Skills in languages other than English are a plus

      Education and/or Experience: Bachelors degree or equivalent of 3-5 years work-related experience and/or training in direct sales, retail and/or customer service. Exceptional leadership skills and ability to multitask are a priority.

      Language Skills: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, use a computer, and present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals in English is required

      Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

      Reasoning/Value Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and the ability to deal with problems, new challenges, and change. Ability to live and lead through values with passion.
