Founded in 2019 by Academy Award®- and Emmy Award®-winning filmmakers Liz Garbus and Dan Cogan in the light of an evolving media landscape, Story Syndicate provides a home for talented filmmakers, producers, journalists, thinkers, and artists to create innovative, ambitious, and elevated visual content. Story Syndicate seeks an Jr. IT Coordinator to join our fast paced company and ensure that all remote and onsite employees have the technology needed to do their jobs in the most efficient and secure way possible.

ROLE The Jr. IT Coordinator's main role is to support the IT department's effort to making sure all production and office needs are met in a timely manner. The Jr. IT Coordinator reports to the Post Production VP. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide IT support to both our local and remote users.
• Provide Google Suite Support to employees.
• Keep inventory of IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair software and hardware issues across different editing platforms and Mac and PC-based operating systems.
• Setup and install various software across our devices to company specifications.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge of Mac and PC platforms, interfacing, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with wiring, cable management and basic networking.
• BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field preferred.
• Working knowledge of the following Software Platforms is a huge bonus:
  • Google Suite: Including Google Admin, Docs, Sheets, Drive etc.
  • Jump Desktop.
  • Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, etc.
  • Airtable.
  • Dropbox.
