DEVELOPMENT INTERNStoryCorps’ Development department seeks an intern interested in learning about thefundraising functions of a non-profit. This intern will have the opportunity to work closely with ourInstitutional Giving & Individual Giving teams to further StoryCorps’ mission.THE INTERNSHIPThe Development Intern will learn how revenue-generating functions of a non-profit organization are organized and managed, including how prospective funders are identified and cultivated,how donor communications and grant applications are prepared, and how existing donors arestewarded. At the completion of this internship, the intern can expect to gain experience infundraising, institutional communications, and customer relationship management.All StoryCorps interns are paid $15 per hour, and are expected to work between 14 and 20 hours per week. The Fall 2022 StoryCorps Internship Session runs from September 19th - December 16th, 2022. The internship will be based out of our Ft. Greene offices, on a hybrid (remote + in-person) work schedule - 2 days in-person 3 days remote.
