Storylines at Sea is seeking a Client Relations Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented paralegal with customer service experience with high-net-worth individuals. The qualified candidate will be communicating directly with valued residents of our private residence ship as the liaison between the customer service department and the legal department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Minor revisions to sales and leasehold agreements (and other related contracts) according to individual terms that were previously negotiated with our residents
Distribute legal documents for signature
Explain terms and conditions to resident stakeholders
Answer any related questions our residents may have via meetings, calls and emails
Follow up with the ship’s future residents to gather signatures in a timely fashion to meet deadlines
Calculate payments and balances due
Collect milestone payments over a three-year period while the ship is being built
Coordinate with the legal department and customer service department
Ensure all deadlines and conditions described in contracts are met
Maintain an organized system of digital record
ABOUT YOU
Paralegal certificate or legal studies
Have some client relations experience in the luxury space
Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts
Familiarity with accounting procedures
Excellent oral and writing communication skills
Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work with varying seniority levels including staff, managers and external partners
Additional qualifications in business administration are a plus
Expert knowledge of word processing software and structuring documents properly with headings, numbered lists, outlines, linked table of contents, etc
Previous experience managing contracts and digital records
