    Outstanding opportunity for an EXPERIENCED Bookkeeper/Accountant to join a rapidly growing startup. Must have a demonstrated and professional track record of bookkeeping, preparing balance statements, preparing profit and loss statements, producing Excel spreadsheets with pivot tables, managing QuickBooks, and financial analysis.     Our dream candidate will be above all professional and have a demonstrated track record of delivering the highest quality bookkeeping services and financial reports with Google Sheets and QuickBooks. A successful candidate will be able to juggle multiple duties while remaining dependable, calm, and providing excellent customer service. Prior bookkeeping and advanced skills in QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Excel experience are required.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Advanced reporting skills and computer technology skills and the ability to assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects

    • Advanced written and oral communications skills

    • Moderate to advanced financial and inventory reporting

    • Familiarity with technical accounting and knowledge of US GAAP

    • Moderate to advanced accounts payable, preparation of financial statements for CPA review

    • Advanced skills in professionalism, dependability, reliability, financial fidelity, and ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality

    • Experience performing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures including reconciliations

    • Experience in assisting with tax compliance and reporting, including tax returns, sales taxes, and tax inspections/audits

    • Extensive full charge bookkeeping experience with an accurate and detail-oriented approach to work

    • Ability to prepare, process, and validate recurring and miscellaneous accounting entries

    • Ability to prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails

    • Ability to prepare and disburse payments to vendors in the most timely and professional manner to represent the company with fidelity

    • Ability to post transactions involving cash receipts, disbursements, and/or accounts payable and receivable to ledger accounts

    • Ability to assist in the preparation of financial statements and bank reconciliations as needed

    • Ability to verify computations and determine the appropriateness of supporting documentation

    ABOUT YOU 

    • REQUIRED--Highly advanced QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Skills

    • REQUIRED-- Bachelor’s degree, in Accounting or Finance with an excellent academic record

    • 10 years of combined working experience as a Bookkeeper

    • Advanced reporting skills and computer technology skills and ability to assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects

    • Advanced written and oral communications skills

    • Moderate to advanced financial and inventory reporting

    • Familiarity with technical accounting and knowledge of US GAAP
