Job Summary

We are seeking a Mental Health Aide to join our team! As a Mental Health Aide, you will assist nurses and doctors with the day-to-day care of our residents, including assisting in medicaition administration, cooking, and cleaning. You may occasionally accompany residents for virtual tests or treatments, assist with restocking equipment or supplies, and strive to create a safe, clean environment for our residents and other staff. The ideal candidate is compassionate, works well within a team environment, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Passing medication to residents

Assist doctors, nurses, and others aides in day-to-day care, including helping residents with basic functions

Maintain a clean, safe, healing environment for all staff and residents

Restock equipment and supplies, as needed

Maintain excellent records of residents interactions, and report anything concerning immediately

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving abilities

The ability to work well within a team environment

Positive, compassionate attitude helpful
