Duties

Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.

Load and unload goods using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.

Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules.

Deliver Mattresses, Adjustable Bases and other bedding products directly to customers’ locations while providing friendly and professional customer service.

Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining accurate delivery logs.

Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.

Handle heavy lifting of packages and goods during loading, unloading, and delivery processes with proper technique to prevent injury.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a box truck delivery driver, preferably with route driving familiarity.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable. Class A or B CDL preferred. New CDL Graduates accepted.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 100lbs with Team member assistance) and manual labor safely during loading and unloading tasks.

Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving.
