    Strata-G is seeking an experienced Security Subject Matter Expert with:

    • DOE Q CLEARANCE REQUIRED

    • Bachelor's degree (Security Management, Criminal Justice, Engineering, or information-related major preferred) and 15+ years of related experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • With Associate's degree, 19 years of related experience is required, or • With High School Diploma, 23 years related experience is required. • Detailed knowledge of DOE Physical Security requirements as defined in DOE orders, manuals, and standards. • Extensive background in development of security risk assessments/security plans • Experience in development and implementation of DOE Design Basis Threat Order requirements

    The Security Analyst (Subject Matter Expert) provides security services and technical assistance to assigned project, jobsite, office, or functional/services activities. Assists in managing protection programs and complying with specific governmental standards and/or regulatory requirements. Assists in developing and providing security master plans, security criteria, and technical information to assigned project, jobsite, office, or functional unit. Liaises with and maintains an effective working relationship with assigned projects. Helps advise Security and project management concerning security program progress, problem areas, and remedial actions. Level Specific Responsibilities: • Using data obtained from radiological and chemical sabotage analysis, develop security risk assessments for selected security assets. • Performs the full range of security functions such as inspections, identification of vulnerabilities, and assessment of risks. • Develop security plans for selected security assets based on results of security risk assessments. • Evaluate existing protection measures, make recommendations on security upgrades. • Helps conduct security surveys and audits to ensure compliance with security programs. • Assists with the preparation and distribution of security plans, reports, studies and surveys, as requested.

    • U.S. citizenship is a requirement.
