Strata-G is seeking an experienced Engineering and Design Support with the following:

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The main duties include, but are not limited to:

• Support engineering and design staff to answer and/or resolve PTC CAD application matters
• Support engineering and design staff to answer and/or resolve PDMLink/Creo integration matters
• Test and Configure PTC CAD applications and associated libraries
• Deploy PTC CAD configurations and associated libraries
• Mentor less-experienced staff

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or other relevant degree

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Five years relevant experience
• Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written
• Experience using Creo (Pro/ENGINEER) solid modeling application software
• _ Active DOE Q Clearance_
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment
• Pre-placement physical examination, which includes drug screening, and inclusion in random drug testing program
• Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience on DOE sites and programs
• Experience in applying fundamental design principles that relate to product design​​​​​​ and manufacturing
• Experience in system, subsystem, or component design
• Experience in manufacturing and/or inspection, as it applies to product drawing definition
• Experience in applying Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to engineering drawings
• Experience using Windchill PDMLink
• Demonstrated excellent organizational skills
• Proven record of demonstrating initiative and getting results
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
• Active DOE Q-Level Security Clearance​​​​​​

LOCATION
Albuquerque, New Mexico - Onsite work only, no remote options.

DURATION
2-3 years with possibility of extension.
