    Job Description

    This role contributes to success by preparing and managing the production plan for all assigned resources. This position is a key tactical planning role; responsible for understanding material availability, capacity availability and providing clear direction to the production team.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implement and drive the production schedule to ensure an optimization of production resources to meet market needs, customer delivery and lead time requirements
    • Alignment of supply and demand across production areas to ensure clear direction and visibility
    • Work with manufacturing to expedite operations where necessary to minimize impact on customers and establish recovery plan for customers if commitment date cannot be met
    • Monitor and communicate current capacity to provide lead-times for new opportunities, and to establish the standard lead-time for products
    • Ensure data integrity of our SAP system
    • Accountability for key performance indicators that measure plan and schedule execution and drive implementation of action plans
    • Actively participate, identify and lead continuous improvement projects
    • Collaboration with Purchasing, Production Development, Operations, Product Centers, R&D and Project Management with the ability to influence and attain agreed upon executable plans

    Required Skills

    • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP and GIB
    • Understanding of master data, production control, supply chain, manufacturing and basic planning methodology
    • Proficient analytical and problem solving skills
    • Effective communicator with proven ability to work in a collaborative environment to achieve balanced business objectives with focus on customer satisfaction

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of supply chain experience, or 5+ years of supply chain experience in lieu of a degree

    • Prefer experience with production planning, labor analysis and/or capacity planning

    • Experience in lean manufacturing, pull systems and SAP

    Additional Information

    For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $65k and $95k per year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
