    Position Summary

As a Data Engineer, you work will affect some of the most fundamental aspects of our business, the secure processing of billions of health care records.     In this role, You Will

    • Plan, develop and monitor event-driven data pipelines for new and existing products.

    • Collaborate with Operations to harden and improve the performance of our data infrastructure.

    • Effectively communicate the design and structure of pipelines to other engineers as well as non-engineering stakeholders.

    You Should Get In Touch If

    • You have expertise in relational data, large-scale ETL and automation.

    • You’ve worked with relational databases like Postgres and cloud warehouses like Redshift. Experience in those exact technologies is not necessary.

    • You’re comfortable in a high-level programming language like Python, Javascript or Ruby.

    • You have experience with a major cloud provider like AWS or GCP.

    • You understand the problems tools like Docker and Terraform solve.

    Remote Work

    The Engineering Team works asynchronously, relying on written communications in GitHub, Slack and email. While most of the team is colocated in our office in Nashville, TN, some team members work remotely full-time. Even those team members living near Nashville work from home one or two days a week.

    Compensation

    Compensation for this role ranges between $80,000 to $100,000 commensurate to previous experience.
