They are building tools to allow these organizations to better design, deliver, and manage their live, virtual education initiatives. In doing so, we will be creating a trusted marketplace that connects communities of lifelong learners to the best educational providers.

They are all motivated to define their digital presence and deliver the same connective & interactive experiences that they have perfected in-person. Live, virtual classes have become increasingly popular and effective, but they are in the early innings of what can be done to create a sense of connection and community online.

Job Description:

This EdTech Startup is looking for an Entrepreneurial Engineer to create the future of social enrichment learning. You will be in charge of building the product, and if you're interested, the team & culture necessary to scale it. You'll work directly with the founders who built tools for some of the world's most storied institutions and the growing communities they serve. Tasks and Responsibilities:

Build product

• You will work closely with the founders and their educational providers (think universities, museums, cultural organizations) to test and define what they build.
• You will build and own end-to-end (hands-on) development of large parts of their product.
  

Build our team and culture

• As part of the founding team, you’ll be a key early leader shaping our culture, strategy, and product.
• You will craft the Engineering culture and set the quality bar high. Help this EdTech startup design the culture you always wish you were hired into.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• You are an entrepreneurial engineer and you have a passion for education and lifelong learning
• Have first-hand experience building full-stack applications and shipping & scaling products.
• Experienced in building up a team of engineers around you and a culture to support everyone's best work.
• Respond well to open-ended problems and thrive on autonomy.
• Have a passion for education and lifelong learning.
