Strategic Account Leader
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid after onboarding; must be located in the Carolinas)
Compensation: $100K–$130K base + commission upside (full commission once book is built)

The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to be an early member of a growing business unit focused on folding cartons and retail packaging. You’ll own new business development from strategy to close, backed by world-class design, production, and speed-to-market capabilities. If you’ve built accounts from scratch in packaging, labels, or closely related verticals — and you’re ready to grow your income and impact — this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
New Business Development
Identify and acquire new folding carton and retail packaging clients
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, solution development, quoting, and closing
Engage with emerging brands, R&D teams, and procurement to tailor packaging solutions
Strategic Account Leadership
Serve as the point of contact for new accounts and lead post-sale growth
Coordinate with structural design and marketing teams to deliver winning presentations
Ensure flawless execution and client satisfaction through delivery
Market Expansion & Intelligence
Target adjacent industries including labels, corrugated, and rigid packaging
Prospect in untapped regions and segments with high-growth potential
Feed market insights back to leadership to refine strategy and positioning
What Success Looks Like
$1M in invoiced sales in Year 1 (stretch goal); minimum $250K from new accounts
2–3 anchor accounts developed from scratch
Consistent pipeline activity and early wins within first 90–120 days
You’d Be a Great Fit If You Have:
4+ years of industrial or packaging sales experience
2+ years of folding carton experience (strongly preferred)
Proven ability to hunt, close, and grow accounts from zero
Experience working in a small-to-midsize company environment
A "figure-it-out" mindset with high ownership and resourcefulness
Strong communication skills and ability to lead consultative client conversations
Bonus Points For:
Experience at companies like Malnov, Rohrer, TGC Legacy, Marshall & Bruce, or Bellmark
Background in retail packaging, cosmetic or beverage packaging, or boutique print services
Understanding of structural design, product launches, and emerging brand dynamics
Military background with strong performance in private sector B2B roles
