    Employee Benefits Client Relations Manager

    Our team is growing, and we are looking for a detail-oriented team player. The Client Relations Manager will provide professional and courteous service to our customers, carrier representatives, and SBA colleagues.

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

    • Accountable for delivering high quality and efficient service to clients through the day-to-day account management of an assigned group of accounts that vary in size and have relatively simple to moderately complex needs
    • Resolves customer service inquiries that require research and interactions with carriers
    • Act as the main day-to-day client contact for any service related issues
    • Executes policy and plan changes
    • Responds to client questions/issues and maintains a log of conversations
    • Processing enrollment and terminations with multiple carriers
    • Preparation of COBRA or Continuation notices on employer’s behalf
    • Create census enrollment spreadsheets/reports
    • Conduct billing audits and work through billing discrepancies
    • Educate and answer questions on insurance/benefit plans
    • Handling resolution of all client claims issues – simple or complex
    • Support client with implementation of benefits program which may include things such as: creating employee communications, coordinating & conducting open enrollment meetings, coordinating paperwork between client and carrier
    • Maintain visibility with clients, fostering lasting relationships developed through professional and technical expertise as well as understanding client’s business needs

     

    WHAT YOU OFFER US:

    • 2+ years employee benefits service experience with a brokerage firm
    • Active Life & Health producer’s license or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire
    • Proficient with standard office computer tools; i.e. Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to work in a positive team environment and independently
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Analytical, organizational and time management skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment
    • Independent thinker; dependable; displays initiative
