    We’re seeking a Strategic Communications & Metrics Analyst who brings analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and a passion for data‑driven storytelling. In this role, you’ll help shape communication strategies, measure their effectiveness, and translate insights into meaningful recommendations that support mission‑driven work in the health science ecosystem.

    This position is based full‑time at a federal agency client site in Alexandria, VA, and is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated start date of July 1.

    About the Role

    As part of our integrated communications team, you will support the development, execution, and evaluation of strategic communication initiatives. Your work will help ensure that messaging is aligned, impactful, and grounded in measurable outcomes.

    Core Responsibilities: • Develop and implement strategic communication plans that enhance visibility and support organizational goals. • Analyze communication metrics to evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment of messaging. • Prepare clear, comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. • Conduct market and audience research to identify trends, insights, and opportunities within the health science landscape. • Manage social media analytics and provide recommendations to strengthen content strategy. • Support internal communications initiatives to foster engagement and information flow. • Stay current on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and evolving communication methodologies.

    Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in strategic communications, analytics, or a related discipline. • Proficiency with data analysis tools, dashboards, and communication software. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive. • Experience in the health science or healthcare industry is a preferred. • Creative thinker with a passion for strategic storytelling and measurable impact.
